In support of BC Childrens Hospital FoundationTeam Matrix is proud to be in support of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.  The BC Children’s Hospital is the province’s only full-service acute care hospital and serves the one million children living in BC and the Yukon. All children who are seriously ill or injured are referred to Children’s Hospital and are either treated at the hospital in Vancouver or, in consultation with Children’s specialists, in their home community. Last year, more than 72,000 children were treated at Children’s Hospital. BC Children’s Hospital Foundation received donations from more than 120,000 people last year and had revenues of over $61.3 million. Funds raised by the foundation are used to support BC Children’s Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children and the Child & Family Research Institute. Since 1982, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation has worked with children, families, caregivers and hundreds of thousands of British Columbians to give Children’s Hospital, and the Child & Family Research Institute the resources they need to excel.

Why did you choose to join a Mastermind group?
To get more acquainted with the business community in which I live and work.  To meet business owners that are, or will be experiencing growth so that I may offer my services to them and ultimately create healthier work environments.

What advantages does being a part o

f a Mastermind group offer you?
The main advantage I see currently is in gaining insight from business owners who have already proven success and to contribute to the communities’ growth.

Do you think your team can turn $500 into $1,000,000 by July 1st 2011?
I think anything is possible and I believe we have a very good group – so I’d say we probably can.  The proof will certainly be in doing so!

What gives your group an advantage over others?
I don’t know the other groups so this is a difficult question to answer; but I definitely have confidence in the members of my group in terms of business acumen and the ability to communicate openly. I’d say we’re off to a pretty good start with the talented group we have.

What is most exciting about being a part of the first ever Race to a Million?
The new ideas and watching the whole competition unfold. I’m very curious to see what comes from all the great minds taking part.

Anything else you’d like to tell everyone?
Since this is something entirely new for me – I’m not sure what to expect at this stage of the game. I am sure there will be progress checks along the way for each of the groups – to spice up the competition – so I’m looking forward to that as well!

About Vata Health
When my 83 year old dad’s knees stopped working and he couldn’t have them replaced his health deteriorated to being bed ridden with an extreme heart condition and dementia. His doctor told us there was nothing we could do except keep him comfortable. I found Whole body Vibration and sent him my first machine. Now at 86, he is healthy, walks every day, travelling again, riding a scooter and his mind is clear as a bell. I realized there are solutions to our health problems and easy ways for us all to improve our health and stay healthy. Through activity, diet and knowledge, my goal is to get this message out to all Canadians. With sales of over 1,000 machines so far, I have seen the amazing results with hundreds of customers with arthritis, weight loss, flexibility, strength gains, MS, pain management, circulation and may other results.
